Dear Exemplar Customers and Friends,

As you have come to us with your paradigm-shifting business ideas, we have worked passionately to represent you and to empower you to achieve your goals. We have created great successes together through mutual trust, teamwork, and strategy. We hope that we have earned your trust by turning your ideas into thriving businesses and by doing so with the upmost integrity. At Exemplar, we have the highest respect for all of our customers and because of this we want to create a conversation about this posting with the people who know best about Exemplar – Our Customers!

We have heard first hand from many of you, through emails, phone calls and thank you cards that you have appreciated our services and the value we have provided for your businesses. We know many of you have valued the customized plans created for your business, and for the time attention devoted by our attorneys via phone calls, emails and personal meetings. Since we do not bill by the hour, we hope this approach has shown many of you that we genuinely care about the success of your businesses.

We invite you now to share your stories and the relationship you have with our firm by posting a testimonial below. You may also email any of our attorneys directly, and we will be happy to share your story, if you would like. An ongoing dialogue can be followed through #exemplar on Twitter.

  1. Lawyers are easy targets. They have, after all, made for themselves quite a reputation as conscienceless beings, and sadly, there are many who really fit that mold and inspire all the lawyer jokes.

But not the Exemplar attorneys! I have the privilege of knowing them in person, and these are upstanding professionals. Their passion for entrepreneurship and the innovation and ethics they bring to the business stands to redefine the very rules of the legal profession, literally making them exemplar as the firm of the future, in contrast with the sordid reputation of many traditional law firms.

It is shameful and ironic that a single paranoid, confused and self-righteous zealot, alone decided to smear such a well-reputed firm. Or could his intentions be more sinister? Could Doug Millison be trying to promote himself and his project for free, shamelessly using Exemplar as a scapegoat, riding the viral wave at their expense? Given his unscrupulous slander thus far, I wouldn't put it past him!

And to all those sheep who forwarded or "retweeted" his claims, shame on you for your complicity in this smear campaign. Any responsible individual would do well to first verify the facts before passing accusations on. I always do. It always infuriates me when anyone, even a friend, asks me to pass on allegations against another individual when I have no evidence that they are true. Perhaps you should think about the consequences of your actions once in a while. Sheep, pawns, tools, it is the combination of electronic speed with your stupidity that make the internet such a dreadful doomsday weapon. P.S. OMGZ Bill Gates is sharing his fortune, $1,000 just for you, PASS IT ON!!!1 ... idiots.
